What’s the difference between a battery case and a complete kit?
A battery case includes the enclosure and protection electronics. A complete kit adds matched LiFePO4 cells.
Why use an independent 5A active balancer?
Equalizes cells faster & is replaceable without replacing the whole BMS.
Is it compatible with other 48V (16S) LiFePO4 cells?
Yes — check cell dimensions & follow wiring guidelines.
How long does installation take?
Usually 45–90 minutes with basic tools. Video guide available.
Thought they were MB31 cells, but think they are another earlier gen. Haven't gotten confirmation

Easier assembly than expected about 2 hrs/ pack.
Well balanced cells.
The credit Card fee is too high, but not really other options for paying.
Coupled with 2 x 20 kW Deye Hybrid Inverters. Used 70 mm DC cabling and Victron connection boxes, with individual fuses for each pack.
Will buy another 2 kits...But presently on backorder 😢
Overall very happy...If I did it again, I would likely consider the High Voltage Stackable batteries(that aren't stocked in EU and not diy), as inverters would be cheaper + higher kw( so one would be enough), and cabling alot cheaper, less heat-loss.
Hoping I won't need to reconsider this post in a few months...but so far so good 👍
